I’ll write two pros and two cons: Pros: 1. they gave me a free shuttle ride after dropping off my car! It was nice because my husband was busy in school to take me. 2. When I asked more in depth about my car’s problems and the tests they did, they explained to me clearly what was happening and made me understand the problem better. Cons: When I called for a quote, they told me it was $119 plus tax, so I figured it would be close to $130 for service. When I got the bill, they had added another extra $10 bill for “tools used during service that are too small to be individually itemized”. It felt dishonest to me to give me a quote I “thought” was cheaper than other shops but turned out to be the same as most car places. Doesn’t live up to it’s “honest” name on the shop. 2. They wanted to replace a simple radiator cap and do more testing, and they told me it was $40 for replacing such a tiny part! When I questioned why it was expensive, they told me that I could maybe find some for $30 but they are expensive. Since I wanted them to do more testing after replacing the cap, I let them do it. I looked online and they were probably $10-15 dollars. Definitely got ripped off for that tiny part. Overall, they didn’t necessarily “fix” my car’s problem since it didn’t happen to occur while there and all their tests were fine. I was frustrated to pay about $40 extra between tiny little things, but honestly I don’t know how much better other car shops are either. Not very impressed with their whole “honest” name though.
